Calendar of Due Dates

Information on the application process and deadline dates will be available soon.

We no longer require a Letter of Intent from currently funded organizations.

Review the calendar of due dates to verify deadline dates.

In some instances, GBF will consider multiyear (two-year) funding for an organization. Organizations eligible to request multiyear grants have received funding from GBF in the past and have an established relationship with the Foundation.

Grantees that have received three consecutive years of funding and are interested in reapplying to GBF are required to apply for a Sustainability Bonus Grant (SBG). Upon entering their fourth year of GBF funding, grantees are encouraged to evaluate aspects of their programs by sustaining and building the capacities of their girls' projects and organizations with the SBG. A few examples of SBG requests are developing a fundraising plan, improving financial and accounting capacity, undertaking strategic planning, giving staff special training, enhancing your program, and evaluating your program. SBGs are $5,000 or less. GBF staff will notify your organization when you become eligible for the SBG. Organizations that receive an SBG are eligible to apply to the main grant cycle in the following year.
